My friends have sent me a large number of clips over the years and I have downloaded them to my Mac. Obviously the clips have taken up a huge amount of space on my computer. I bought the My Book Mac Edition recently in order to transfer the downloaded Mac material, however, I want it to be reasonably organized when I transfer it. I would like to put it into folders so that it transfers to My Book in that fashion. That way I can just go to the folder that has been copied to the My Book. I began to put things in folders and place the folders on my desktop but now my Mac has sent messages that shortly there will be too little 'startup' space. Can I just begin to transfer the individual folders to the My Book or will the My Book just begin to transfer everything that I have downloaded to my Mac to the My Book without any kind of organization?
